Point Based
Point Based is the default loot mode. Profile members earn a loot-point balance that the Loot Helper roster displays and that Raid Check can increase when a player is prepared.
Existing profiles start in Point Based. Switching to Reward Pot hides loot points without deleting them; switching back restores the same balances.
What you see
The Loot Helper window title uses the profile's point name. Each profile member shows their current loot-point balance. Profile admins can raise or lower that balance in half-point steps.
Attendance is not shown in this mode. If the profile later uses Reward Pot, Attendance already earned there remains stored until you switch back.
Raid Check
Pre-Raid Check reports missing requirements. It does not change loot points.
Raid Check inspects only profile members who are currently in the raid. Prepared members receive the profile's Points Per Raid Check award (0, 0.5, or 1). Inspection Failed does not receive points and does not count as Unprepared. Never-inspectable players are Unprepared.
Configure the award and whispers under Loot Helper → Session. Equipment rules are addon-owned. Only profile admins can change those settings or run a check.
Equipment history
The gear button still records whether a loot category has been used. In Point Based, that history is separate from the up and down point controls.
